Complete Guide On How to Use the Glo Blackberry Subscription On PC and Android Devices

The cost of using the Internet in Nigeria is no doubt too high for other OS (Operating Systems) devices except that of blackberry devices. Though, networks (GLO, MTN, Airtel, Etisalat and others) have varieties of packages for all devices (affordable) but comparing the prices with the volume of data, it's a "NO NO". Imagine you subscribing for just 1000 Naira and you get 3GB!!! and on other devices, you subscribe with this same amount, you get 250MB. Isn't the first one so amazing? I must tell you, for the world we are now, regardless of the class, we all need to use the Internet one way or the other to get updated with everything happening around us.

Now, going back to the tutorial, how to use the Glo BIS on PCs and Android Devices, the following tools are needed to get the job done.

• Blackberry Imei Number : You can get this from any blackberry user
• Android Device
• Imei Analyzer (Download from GooglePlay)
• MobileUncle Tools (Download from GooglePlay)

The Process: How to Use the GLO BIS Subscription on PCs and Androids Os

1. Get 12 digits out of 15 Imei digits from the blackberry device you wish to use.

2. Head straight to the "Imei Analyzer" you downloaded to your Android device.

• In the Imei Analyzer, Paste the 12 Imei digits you copied from the blackberry, add "Random" two(2) digits making it "14" and click on "Analyze". The tool will generate the last digit making it complete "15" and correct.

3. Then, copy down the newly generated imei digits as it will be used in the MobileUncle Tools

• Launch the tool
• Follow the below screen shots

4. Restart the Phone / Change to offline mode then back to Normal mode

5. Check your Imei Number by dialing *#06# to see if if it's successful.

6. Check here to see if the Imei Number you changed to is really that of blackberry.

7. Configure these settings on your android device

• Go to System Settings >> More >> Mobile Networks >> Access Point Names >> Click on which either Sims you'd like to use >> Click on Options >> New APN
• Name: Glo_BB
• APN: blackberry.net
• Save

8. Go to Messaging, Send "COMONTH" to 777 to subscribe for the monthly blackberry plan. It's 1000 Naira for 3GB

How to share the connection with PC? 

• Go to System Settings >> More >> Tethering & Portable Hotspot >> Wi-Fi hotspot & switch it on.
• Swith on the Wi-Fi of your PC too then connect
